Selling direct-to-consumer has been a mainstay in our business practices since our early beginnings as a roadside fruit stand. Being able to talk directly to our consumers not only provides us with feedback and thoughts on our products, but it also helps us to form relationships and get to know our consumers. While we’ve grown a lot as a company since our roadside stand days, we still believe in the value of selling direct to consumer and continue to do so at the Greenmarkets in New York City that are sponsored by the Council on the Environment of New York City and run by Grow NYC.
Being a part of the Greenmarket program allows us to provide fresh and locally grown products to consumers in a way that is cost effective for everyone. New York is our home, and we view the opportunity to participate in the Greenmarket as a way to ensure that all New Yorker’s have access to fresh fruits and juices, grown and pressed right here in our state. and cold-pressed juices to welcome more consumers to the Red Jacket Orchards family.
