Red Jacket Orchards Cares About Health & Wellness

May is the beginning of our busy season which doesn’t seem to slow down until after the New Year. Apart from planting, pruning, prepping, harvesting, and more in the orchards, we also began a season full of happenings off the farm. It’s a bit of a marathon, if you will. Speaking of, we’ve got some exciting events in the line-up and you’ll notice a theme here - health & wellness is kind of a big deal in these parts. First up is the Seneca 7 on April 30th in our very own hometown. The Seneca 7 is a 77.7 mile race around wondrous Seneca Lake that starts and ends in Geneva, NY. It’s relay style with 7 team mates and usually ends with a killer celebration on the lake. It’s always a great time and usually we have some of our very own RJO staff participating. Next up, a cause near and dear to our hearts, is the MS Walk of Canandaigua, NY (a small town close to Geneva, NY) on May 7th. Our very own Natalie Baris and Angela Lightfoote will be leading the team, FLX Fighters, in this noble cause. If it’s important to our employees, it’s important to us. That’s why Red Jacket Orchards will be matching donations to the FLX Fighters. You can DONATE HERE 1056012531.custom

We’re excited to join the Cleveland Marathon on May 21st for the first time. Come check out our booth & say hello, Ohio! Last, but not least, we close out the month of May with yet another marathon event - the Buffalo Marathon on May 28th. Phew! That’s a lot of running. Good thing we’ve got a great way to stay hydrated;-)
