Feliz Cinco de Mayo! To kick off the weekend and celebrate Mexican-American culture, we’re shaking things up. Literally. We’re shaking up some tequila with a few of our favorite cold-pressed juices. YUM.
If you’re looking for some margarita recipe inspiration, look no further. We’ve got a couple of super easy recipes for a Apricot Margarita, a Strawberry Margarita, and a Tart Cherry Margarita for you below. And super simple is key, right? That way you spend less time mixing and more time sipping!
Tart Cherry Margarita
- In a blender, mix juice, tequila, orange liqueur, and fresh lime juice. Or, shake in a large container with a top (such as a 32 oz. mason jar).
- Fill a pitcher with ice and pour in the blended margarita.Stir well to ensure that the mixture is combined.
*Alternatively, you could make single cocktails in a shaker using 2 oz. juice, 2 oz. tequila, 1 oz. orange liquor, and juice of ½ a lime. But, seriously, who drinks only 1 margarita?!
- Get your sippin’ glasses ready by rubbing each rim with a lime wedge. Fill a small plate with salt and dip the lime-y rim of the glass in the salt.
- Divide margarita into the salted glasses and garnish each glass with the respective fruit and lime wedge. Then, sip away!
